Dear colleagues, you are welcome to participate in the international academic conference, "War and World: The Obvious and the Probable," scheduled for March 3–9, 2025, bringing together experts and researchers from various countries.

Day 1. March 3rd
Conference Opening

Day 2. March 4th. Hybrid (offline+online) - Session "Painful changes in Russian education"
Co-organizers: Ruhr University Bochum, Boris Nemtsov Foundation, and Ideas for Russia project.

Day 3. March 5th
Session "The Cost of War"

Day 4. March 6th
Session "War, Religion, Faith"
Plenary session and discussion round table dedicated to various aspects of the interaction between the state and religious institutions

Day 5. March 7th
1. Panel: "Forever in the People's Memory? 2024, Commemoration of WWII vs. Memorialization of the Special Military Operation"
2. Panel: "Politics of Memory During the Russia-Ukraine War"

Day 6. March 8th
Panels: "The Living and the Dead" and "Running on the Waves of Migration"

Day 7. March 9th
Conference Wrap-Up and Conclusions

Who Can Participate?
The conference welcomes university faculty, academics, researchers, postgraduate students, journalists, and NGO. Сonfidentiality is ensured for colleagues from Russia.

The conference will be held online via Zoom, featuring plenary sessions, section meetings, and free thematic discussion panels. The section "New Developments in Education" will be conducted in a hybrid (in-person and online) format.

Registration for Participants and Attendees:
To participate as a presenter, please fill in the registration form for presenters and submit an abstract (up to 1,000 characters) by February 10, 2025.
To attend as a listener, please complete the listener registration form by February 10, 2025.
